Beginners Strategy guide

Here is the strategy guide for newbies:
First, play the featured game for double the NP you would otherwise get from the game. also activate your account and bank your NP. also, feed your pet on omlettes from the giant omelette in tyrannia anbd from jelly from the giant jelly in jelly world (jelly world is here, make sure to bookmark it, because you have to use the url otherwise because the neopets team do not even accept it's presence.)
make sure you activate your account as well, because otherwise the tips won't work
also, do the daily freebies. (coltzans shrine, fruit machine, tombola and any other ones added by neopets) the omelettes and jelly are free.
also, make sure you play all the games except the ones in luck/chance. this is so that you can build up the NP total. at this point, do not go on any quests refuse to do them on the quests page instead. this also applies to the quests that you ask for refuse to ask for them. later you can for helping your pets stats or feeding your pets.
also, deposit all your profits in the neopian bank (open an account. when you do, you get 30NP ) so none can get stolen id recommend at having 200 NP around for sudden necessities. at this stage this should only be for emergency healing items from the healing springs (if you have not been in the last 1/2 hour to hour, you can get the water faerie to heal instead of wasting your precious NP.
continue this until hitting 1000 NP in the bank. then upgrade to a neopian student account from junior saver repeat when you hit the mark for other accounts when you hit 15,000 NP in a account (or sooner. depending on what is said in the page i mean i put 2000 NP into a account and it offered interest and before there was nothing. it depends on the account) start collecting interest. it wont be much to start with 1 or 2 NP, but collect it before you deposit NP do not withdraw NP unless you have no NP and even then try the games first. even the luck/ chance games are useful for earning NP. when you reach 100,000 + NP you can start buying food. also now use the scratchcard kiosk in terror mountain. scratch the corners and the centre one. if there are any pairs, look to link them up with a scratch the chances are that you win 1 in four times with this method. very rarely, it won't matter what the last scratch is because you already won.
continue what you first did, (play all the games, claim interest, deposit all but 200NP of on- hand NP) with one change. up the max. on hand NP to 600NP. this is for the scratchcards. but continue merrily collecting interest adding to the amount in the bank until you have 500,000 NP in the bank. then move on to my intermediate guide.
